  What is a Dwarven Monolith ?

These are creatures that can appear randomly in levels.

They grant extra rewards if you complete the level:

• Untold Tales Coins
• Emblems
• Crafting items
• Resource Bundle

Daily Clam Limit

The quantity of Dwarven Monolith you can obtain is limited each day.

• Starting Cap: 15 clams per day.
• Increase: The limit increases by 15 each day up to a maximum of 60 clams per day.

Monster Lure (Paid Option)

The Monster Lure is an upgrade available through a special paid offer:

• It immediately increases your daily Dwarven limit from 15 to 25 per day.
• It also increases the quantity of specific UT pieces found in loot.
• It increases your chances of finding rare monsters by 1000%

How to Defeat Dwarven Monolith (Combat Tip)

• Invulnerability: The Dwarven monolith appears in a closed statue and is protected from direct damage for 3 turns (Except for the first, 4 laps before opening up). 
• Attack: It then opens up, allowing you to defeat it.

Tip: If you use a damage sharing ability (which damages all enemies), you can defeat the clam even when closed by targeting the other monsters.

Untold Tales Il Summon Portal

Summon Cost

• 1 Summon: Costs 350 Gems or 100 UT Coins.
• 10 Summons: Cost 3000 Gems.
• 30 Summons: Cost 8400 Gems.

Appearance Rate

 Presence of heroes from three groups:

I. Overview

Untold Tales 2: Treasures of Flame and Frost is the latest seasonal event, launched in December 2023. 

Like Untold Tales 1, it consists of 6 chapters of 28 stages and does not have a world map.

2 modes are available: Easy and Hard mode.

The Summoning Portal is available, including UT2-specific heroes as well as Season 3 heroes.

II. Access Requirements

Access is via the Seasons tab. You must have completed Chapter 2 of Untold Tales 1 to access this season.

III. Duration and Frequency

The base season is accessible at any time. However, the Summoning Portal is associated with the reduced-cost season Dwarven Riches

It is included in a 4-day rotation per season:

S2 > S3 > S4 > S5 > UT1 > UT2

IV. Stages

UT2 is divided into 6 chapters of 28 stages, which unlock as you progress. 

They currently include an Easy mode and a Hard mode. Hard mode is only accessible if the Easy mode has been completed.

A Deadly mode is planned. No information on the gameplay of this mode is available to date.

The World Energy required varies across chapters.

Each stage is divided into waves (varying from 3 to 5 waves) featuring monsters and final bosses similar to other seasons.

Chapters 4 to 6 have a specific characteristic:

V. Untold Tales Coins

UT Coins are earned only the first time you complete a stage:

• 3 coins in Easy mode,
• 5 coins in Hard mode.

A total of 1344 coins can therefore be collected across all currently unlocked stages.

When both Easy and Hard modes are completed, a specific reward is available in the "Missions" tab, containing coins and 4* ascension items.

VI. Specific Gameplay: Runes

This is an evolution of Season 3 Runes.

• Appearance: Rune Stones appear randomly on the board.
• Effect: They apply special effects (debuffs or buffs) to enemies or heroes, depending on their element.
• Evolution: A two-turn countdown is displayed. After two turns, the rune enters the "Charged" state.

The Fusion Core activates each time this character uses their Special Skill:

• All enemies receive Corrosive Burn for 3 turns. With a fully charged Fusion Core, Corrosive Burn deals 287 Burn damage (depends on the hero's attack stat) and reduces the target's defense by -12% each turn.
• Damage is higher against targets that possess minions or mega minions.
• Corrosive Burn damage is proportional to the core's charge. All charge is consumed upon core activation.

This character's Arctic Core charges when they take damage from normal attacks or Special Skills.

The Arctic Core activates each time this character uses their Special Skill:

• All enemies receive Corrosive Frost for 3 turns. With a fully charged Arctic Core, Corrosive Frost deals 343 Frost damage (depends on the hero's attack stat) and reduces the target's attack by -15% each turn.
• Damage is higher against targets whose health is boosted or who possess minions or mega minions.
• Frost damage is proportional to the core's charge. All charge is consumed upon core activation.

I. Overview

Untold Tales 1 : Mysteries of the Deep is the first non-world map seasonal event launched in June 2023. 

It differs from the first 5 seasons. It is divided into 6 chapters of 28 episodes.

2 modes are available: easy mode and hard mode.

The summon portal is available including heroes specific to UT1 as well as heroes from Season 2.

II. Access Conditions

Access is via the seasons tab. You must have reached Province 5 of Season 5.

III. Duration and Periodicity

The base season is accessible at any time. However, the summon portal is associated with the reduced cost season Sunken Riches 

It is included in a 4-day rotation per season:

S2 > S3 > S4 > S5 > UT1 > UT2

IV. Stages

The UT1 are divided into 6 chapters of 28 levels unlocking as you progress. 

They currently include an easy mode and a hard mode. The hard level is only accessible if the easy level has been completed.

A deadly mode is planned. No information on the gameplay of this mode is available to date.

The required world energies vary over the chapters.

Each level is divided into waves (varying from 3 to 5 waves) comprising monsters and final bosses similar to the other seasons.

V. Untold Tales Coins

VI. Specific Gameplay

The Underwater Battle

The levels take place underwater and introduce an Oxygen mechanic that must be managed:

Oxygen being the key resource, you must regenerate it using special tiles.

The oxygen level triggers varied effects on the board.

Enemy/Ally Evolutions

The more the oxygen bar decreases, the more dangerous the effects. These effects are permanent.

• At 75% remaining Life: All enemies gain Life Steal (they heal by attacking).
• At 50% remaining Life: The Attack Power of all enemies increases.
• At 25% remaining Life: Allies receive Blindness.
• Enemy Death (0%): Your heroes take more damage. In addition, a random hero suffers a blind attack each turn.

Recharge Oxygen

To fill your oxygen bar, you can activate:

• Diamond (Nautilus Shell): Recharges a large part of the oxygen.
• Dragon (Association of 4 tiles): Recharges a small part of the oxygen.

Special Tile Bonuses

Power Nautilus Shells appear when you form or use a diamond.

Matching or activating the shell confers a 3-turn bonus that depends on its attribute:

IX. Untold Tales I Families

Heroes Mana Speed

The trigger speed (Mana) of a UT1 hero is indicated by arrows under the character:

• 3 Arrows: Fast Mana
• 1 Arrow: Medium Mana

This speed alternates between fast and medium Each time a special skill is activated:

Fast → Average → Fast → Average

The scroll speed of the arrows indicates how quickly the next trigger will take place.

• Bonus for 1/2 heroes:
  • 50% / 75% chance to grant all allies +36% attack for 3 turns when this character takes damage from special skills.

2. Stages

A. General Overview

Season 5 is divided into 36 provinces of 10 stages that unlock as you progress. 

It features an Easy Mode and a Hard Mode. Hard mode is only accessible once Easy mode is completed.

The required World Energy varies throughout the provinces from 6 to 10 (Easy) and 10 to 15 (Hard).

Each stage is divided into waves (varying from 3 to 5 waves) featuring monsters and final bosses similar to other seasons.

B. Stage Properties

In Season 5, Stage Properties apply to every other stage.

Enemy Passives: All enemies have various passive abilities, specific to each one. A stage or wave may contain different enemies with different passives.

Stage Status Effects: Stage Status Effects are applied to your heroes every 5 turns.

Nature of Effects: These effects are like normal Status Effects and are mostly dispellable or cleansable.

3. Gameplay Specifics: Amulets

Amulets are ancient Kemythian artifacts discovered in Season V stages, offering beneficial effects in combat.

A. Acquisition and Unlocking

Method: Amulets are unlocked by progressing through the Season V story.

Special Stages:

• Stages that grant new Amulets or increase the number of slots are marked with a special icon.
• These stages cannot be replayed immediately the first time, as a new screen appears to inform you of the unlocked item or slot.

Tutorial: A short tutorial on Amulets is presented after completing Province 1 for the first time.

B. Slot Management

Total Slots: A total of 3 Amulet Slots can be unlocked and used.

Slot Unlock Conditions:

• Slot 1: After completing Province 1.
• Slot 2: After completing Province 10.
• Slot 3: After completing Province 28.

C. Inventory and Equipment

The inventory is accessible from the Season V map and via a small panel before the battle.

Inventory Structure:

The upper section shows the currently selected Amulets.

The lower section shows the selectable ones.

Equipment Actions:

Equip: If there is a free slot, click the Amulet to equip it.

Change: If there is no free slot, you must first unequip an Amulet, then select a new one.

Unequip: You have the option to battle without any Amulets by unequipping them all.

In Combat Check: During battle, you can check which Amulets are in use by clicking the associated icon on the left side of the screen.

D. Amulet Types and Effects

There will be 9 types of Amulets in total.

Ankh (Unlocked Province 1): Grants 10% amplified Health to your hero each time they cast a Special Skill.

Was Scepter (Unlocked Province 1): Increases the damage enemies receive from your Special Skills by 30%.

Tjet (Unlocked Province 4): Grants 20% Mana to your heroes every 3 turns.

Udjat Eye (Unlocked Province 7): Weakens all enemies with stacks of -7% Attack and -7% Mana Generation each time you cast a Special Skill.

Shen (Unlocked Province 13): Protects your heroes against status ailments and reflects them back to the enemy when possible.

Scarab (Unlocked Province 16): Increases your Troops' damage against weaker elements by 200%.

Djed (Unlocked Province 22): Revives your heroes as Mummies (10% Attack and -50% Defense) after being defeated for the first time.

Benben Crystal (Unlocked Province 25): Gives your heroes +30% Attack and makes them counter-attack with +30% of the damage received. Active only if all heroes are of different elements.

Crook & Flail (Unlocked Province 31): Increases the stats of all your Rare/Epic heroes.

Specific missions allow you to recover gems or avatars.

5. The Dune Coins

This is the exclusive currency for summoning Season 5 heroes.

Obtaining: They are given as a reward the first time you complete a map stage.

Amount:

• Normal Mode gives 3 coins per stage.
• Hard Mode gives 5 coins per stage.

Summoning: It takes 100 Dune Coins to perform one free summon.

6. Dynasty of Dunes Summoning Portal

Summon Cost

• 1 Summon: Costs 350 Gems or 100 Underworld Coins (Dune Coins).
• 10 Summons: Cost 3000 Gems.
• 30 Summons: Cost 8400 Gems.

Each summon in the portal credits a summoning chest. Every 10 summons, the retrieved chest grants rewards. You can only obtain a maximum of 12 chests per session.

A. Moon Family

Heroes become stronger when paired with other unique heroes from the same family.

Bonus for 1/2 Heroes:

• 50%/75% chance to apply -24% Defense for 2 turns and 196 Water damage over 2 turns to an enemy who deals damage via Special Skill to this character.
• If the enemy's Special Skill defeats this character, the chance increases to 75%/100%.

Season Hero Bonus: Members of this family receive additional benefits in Season V stages.

1. How to Access the Event

Where to Find It: Access is via the Seasons Tab.

Prerequisite: You must have completed up to stage 15 of Season 3.

Base Season: It is available permanently.

Frequency (Summon Portal): It is part of a 4-day rotation among several seasons at reduced costs: S2 > S3 > S4 > S5 > UT1 > UT2.

2. Levels

A. General Overview

Season 4 is divided into 36 Provinces with 10 stages each, which unlock as you progress. 

It features an Easy Mode and a Hard Mode. Hard Mode is only accessible after Easy Mode has been completed.

The World Energy (WE) required varies across provinces.

Each stage is divided into waves (ranging from 3 to 5 waves) featuring monsters and final bosses similar to other seasons.

B. Specific Gameplay: Underwild Gems

Enemies in the stages or heroes from the Underwild Family in your team have a chance to make an Underwild Gem appear on the board when they attack or use a special skill.

The Underwild Gems inflict damage on a random hero each turn until they are matched.

Underwild Gems can only appear on standard shields of the same element as the enemy that made them appear.

The red arrow indicates that your team will suffer the damage.

The green arrow indicates that your enemies will suffer the damage.

C. Province Specifics: Biomes

Season 4 introduces a "Biome" effect on every map stage. Each Biome has two components:

• A passive ability applied to all enemies in the region.
• A status effect (ailment or buff) applied to your heroes every 5 turns.

Important Note: These periodic effects are cleansable status effects. They can be blocked by an Ailment Blocker hero (like Grazul or Garnet) or cleansed by a Cleanser (like Rigard or Ariel).

6. Underwild Family

A. Family Bonus

Heroes become stronger when teamed up with other unique heroes from the same family.

Bonus for 1/2/3/4/5 heroes: 20% / 24% / 28% / 32% / 36% chance to summon an Underwild Gem onto the board when this hero casts their special skill.

The Underwild Gems inflict 50 points of damage to a random enemy each turn until they are matched.

Underwild Gems can only appear on standard shields of the same element as the hero.

B. Hero List (By Rarity)

All the heroes have a costume.

• Rewards: This season's usual rewards are improved and doubled. This event is very popular with players for farming and resources materials necessary for crafting items,  basic resources or farming experience. 
• New Feature: The main difference is the addition of "Dragon" monsters, which allow you to earn extra rewards when you complete the levels.

2. Stages

A. General Overview

Season 3 is divided into 36 provinces of 10 stages that unlock as you progress. 

It features an Easy Mode and a Hard Mode. Hard mode is only accessible once Easy mode is completed.

The required World Energy varies throughout the provinces from 6 to 10 (Easy) and 10 to 15 (Hard).

Each stage is divided into waves (varying from 3 to 5 waves) featuring monsters and final bosses similar to other seasons.

B. Stage Properties : Realms

• Midgard (P3)
  • All enemies get +15% attack for as long as an enemy has low health.
  • This effect can't be dispelled.
• Vanaheim (P7)
  • The mana of all Heroes is reduced by -15% when an enemy is defeated.
• Jotunheim (P11-13)
  • All enemies get an Ice Giant Minion with 5% HP and 2% attack inherited from the caster when an enemy is defeated.
• Svartalfheim (P15-16)
  • All Heroes get 64 Poison damage for as long as an enemy has low health.
  • This effect can't be cleansed.
• Niflheim (P19)
  • All Heroes have -15% accuracy for as long as an enemy has low health.
  • Chance to miss also applies to offensive Special Skills. This effect can't be cleansed.
• Helheim (P23)
  • Deals 100% damage to all Heroes when an enemy is defeated.
• Muspelheim (P27)
  • All Heroes get 64 Burn damage for as long as an enemy has low health. This effect can't be cleansed.
• Alfheim (P29-31-32)
  • All enemies are healed by 7% when an enemy reaches low health. This effect can activate only once per turn.
• Asgard (P35-36)
  • All enemies gain 20% mana when an enemy is defeated.
• Yggdrasil's Blessing (P36)
  • The effect gets stronger every turn up to a maximum of x2 damage. The effect resets at the start of every wave.
• Unique Boss (P12-28-36)
  • The Unique Boss heals itself and buffs are dispelled from the Heroes every 5 turns.

• Ice runic rocks
  • Effect: all enemies get reduced defense.

  • Effect: all allies recover hp.

Realms empower their members in unique ways, and the more unique members of the same realm there are in a team, the more powerful the realm effect is.

A. Vanaheim Realm

Bonus for 1/2/3 Heroes: The mana of all enemies is reduced by -5/-10/-15% when a Vanaheim Hero is defeated.
