What heroes are you using against new purple titans?

I always have gotten weak scores against Dark/Purple titans. But with the new 15 and 16*s, my scores are awful. So I was surprised when I did the POV of hitting the titan with a team of all colors, my score tripled. I had picked a yellow team based on using a defense debuffer, elemental defense down, attack booster, increased damage, and attack buffer. Now I’m rethinking everything Titan…

My current yellow hero team for purple titans:

Vinca costume two - DD

Guardian Jackal - EDD

Wu Kong - ABooster

Franz - ID

Dolores - ABuffer

We don't hit 15 / 16* titans but my team for purples is:

Tarlak (ABuff)

C1 Leomidas (EDD)

C G.Gazelle (Heal / dance)

Shimmerscale

Satinpementer

Last two are high tile damage dealers. I recently did 215k on a 12* with this team, a record for me. Tornadoes and Scroll of Alteration help, although earlier today I did 180k without using them. Also, Leo and Gazelle are still at 4/85.

I have used Scrollbeast in place of Tarlak for all-yellow team but I get better scores with Tarlak's attack boost. For titans the tile damage is most important.

I agree. That is why I started with yellow heroes. I figured a lot of people could benefit from what others were finding works. My alliance struggles with purple titans.

We fight 11/12* titans and I use the following. Those aren't the newest ones, but all 2LB except Leonidas.
In average I deal about 120k damage with this team:

Gastille (he really is ridiculously high-powered for titans, and not shabby for other use; I use him for all titans except Rare purples who reflect purple)

Guardian Jackal (elemental defense down; I don’t yet have Leonidas costumes)

Haumri (Wither lowers defense)

toon!Joon (mostly just to contribute some high base attack, but Blind isn’t awful to throw)

- ZEKENA (Fast, Def Down, Hits twice, Extra damage vs Dark)
- DOLORES (Buff + Insanity)
- LENNART (Sniper + DOT)
- MARJANA (Sniper + DOT)
- TOXICANDRA (Life Boost + DOT) or FLORENA (Sniper + DOT)
- BERTULF: I used him a lot in the past, but right now he dies too fast. 

Average damage output:
30.000 to 70.000

There are better team, but for now that's what I have

Fighting 16*, I use:

C Guardian Chameleon (strong attack up)

Motega (Increased received damage - the minions hit once before being obliterated by the titan's passive) or Zasha (snipe, plus enough heal to kill the minions)

C-Leonidas (Elemental DD)

White Rabbit (Normal DD - I use the base side, since he does slightly more damage, even though I have the costume)

Lemonwood (Pincushion the titan and reduce its mana)

 

I take the big antidotes, as two of them will clear the minions for everybody if no healer is ready to fire.

I have Toxicandra. Always forget that I do. Time to attend to her for Titan use as I have no greens cooking now. Thanks.

I have serious Gastille envy.

Interesting that not everbody uses mono teams. I try to use mono teams because of higher dealt damage. But maybe I should bring heroes like Franz to the party

It is kinda unfair when there is a specialist who stands head and shoulders above most, if not all, other titan specialist heroes (and who isn’t shabby in other fights), and though I’m missing any number of more recent premium heroes I’m still lucky to have landed Gastille.

On the one hand, you ideally want to stack abilities like defense down, elemental defense down, attack up, normal attack up, “more damage taken,” but on the other hand, you also want to generally have a solid base attack to work all those multipliers on (so at least some high stats and mostly in the strong color), so it becomes a balancing act based on what you have.
