This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on  Platinum Trader and  Platinum Shop.
Don’t get too attached

• Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.
• It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.
• So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.
   

Platinum

• Platinum is a resource used in the Platinum Shop when the shop is active.

Platinum Trader

• Trade items from your inventory for Platinum.
• Platinum can be used to gain useful items from the Platinum Shop when the shop is active.

There is a free Gift, where you can choose from 3 options:

• 5 Platinum
• 10 Aether Crystal
• 500 Emblems

Offered exchangeable items:
Each exchange offer can be claimed once, but you can perform more (or even all) exchanges.

• 4x Mystic Ring -> 30x Platinum
• 20x Sturdy Shield -> 22x Platinum
• 120x Super Mana Potion -> 6 Platinum
• 500x Wizard Emblem -> 5x Platinum
• 350 Midnight Roots -> 3 Platinum
• 50x Nature Aether II -> 2x Platinum
• 700x Crystal Shard -> 2x Platinum
• 50x Nature Aether I -> 1x Platinum
• 700x Clean Cloth -> 1x Platinum

Latest Update on Platinum Shop

• Purchase items from the Platinum Shop with Platinum.
• Platinum can be gained by trading items for it while Platinum Trader is active.

Each items can be purchased once, but you can purchase more offers (even all) if you have enough Platinum for it.

• 5x Farisght Telescope: 42x Platinum
• 5x Omnia Booster: 25x Platinum

• 3x Epic Tome of Experience: 10x Platinum
• 50x Hurricane: 10x Platinum
• 2x Hero Cap Increase: 8x Platinum
• 5x Master Rogue Emblem: 2x Platinum
• 20x Loot Ticket: 2x Platinum

That seems off... Since you can´t gain enough Platinum for that.

Even if you do all the sales possible you get a maximum of 72 Platinum (plus 5 from the gift?), which is barely enough for the 70 the LB tome costs. So I guess there must be other ways to gain Platinum that aren´t mentioned?
